Project 4 - Surrealistic Parallax
When we are talking about dreams I would say collecting books. But if I was given a chance to be anything, I want to be one of those characters you liked inside your book. It was clear from my statement before that I love books. On rainy day, I read them while enjoying my cup of tea. My Design would reflect my dream and fantasy of going inside a book. The book that I chose was Alice in Wonderland, since the story actually kind of reflects what I’m doing. Furthermore, I really love Alice in Wonderland when I was a kid, I watch them over 5x.

Research
Ideation

After feedback from Mr Fauzi, I decided to use the left one to be my final design.
Week 12 (02/11/20)
Animation
After Effect
Firstly, I did simple animation for the clouds and the psarkles. Mr fauzi told me that I could make the sparkles glowing on and off while making the cloud looks like a thunder. This could be achieved by playing with opacity in after effect.
After that, when consultating with Mr fauzi , he ask me what do I wanted to improve and I told him that the animation seemed too simple. Therefore, he told me to animate the book flying like a spaceship. This could be achieved by playing around with the position in after effect
Premier Pro
After doing our animation, we need to export it into MOV and then add sound in premier pro. We were able to choose our own song. I choose my favourite lo-fi song called 'First Date' by Frad. I had been the biggest fan of Frad. His songs's so good and addicting to listen. I particularly chooses this song because it has a calming but still energetic rhthm which fits for my design. I want the song to be have a magical, fantasy nuance.
Week 13 (16/11/20)

Feedback
Week 11: Mr. Fauzi told me that it's better to go with the design on the left for the wonderland dimension. This is because, it looks more interesting and the dark background made it easier to animate. For animation, Mr fauzi suggest to animate the cloud and the sparkles. Make the sparkles on and off and then make each of the cloud have different opacity to achieved a thunder looked.
Week 12: Mr. Fauzi ask me what I want to improve, then he told me to animate the books and make it flying like a spaceship since animating the book flapping like a bird would be hard and takes a lot of time.
