Lecture Notes

Lecture 1: Introduction (01/04/21)

On the first week of this class, we were introduced to our lecturer which is Mr.Shamsul and Sir Lun. They briefed us through the Module Information Booklet and explained what we are going to learn and projects for this module and showed some of senior's work. We were also told to download Adobe DreamWeaver for codings and register to the website Netlify. We were told for whenever we named our file for submission, It required:

1. lowercase only
2. underscore
3. no symbols
4.  .index/.html

Lecture 2: Website Evaluation (08/04/21)

Today we were put into groups of 6 and each group needs to search for good and bad websites. We were also told to identify the characteristic that makes them a good/bad website design. Week 4: Personal HTML

Textedit

First thing we were shown how to start a html in text edit. Then, Mr. Shamsul showed us the codes to create heading, list, bold, italic, and paragraph. After showing us the tutorial, Mr Shamsul gave us an excercise in which we need to do our own website using html we learned. Here is the text edit of my html:



Here is the result on what it looks like on the website, I've known a little bit of html from my previous school year in Indonesia. Therefore, I applied change of fonts and colours:


Week 6: Triathlon HTML

Dreamweaver

This week Mr Shamsul teaches us about dreamweaver and how to use it. I found this software easier than using textedit. We learned about id and class attribute and our tasked is to create website about Triathlon and post it to Netlify.
