Reflection

Experience

This module was an enjoyable experience. This was the first time we worked with a partner on our design module, which I found really intriguing. We had to exchange and integrate our thoughts, as well as critically analyze each other's work, which assisted me in developing my analytical abilities and improving my capacity to obtain criticism from fresh viewpoints.

Observation

I observe how packaging design plays a vital role in branding when it comes to conveying a brand product in the retail environment. One thing I noticed that I should always remember is that the more 'catchier' the design is, the more viewers it would draw. An excellent packaging could also allow you to distinguish your items from those of your rivals.

Findings

I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with bioscience students. I got a taste of what it might be like to work with a customer. It was both difficult and enjoyable. We had to live up to their expectations, and occasionally we had to start again if an idea didn't work. Overall, I find this module is very educational thanks to Ms Zettie's intensive lectures and videos. The projects provided help us with our practical work, which will be much helpful later on when we finally work on the field. We also learn how to communicate with clients and how to operate as a team.
